Liberian Calypso
Liberian Calypso is a mixed media piece of acrylic, fabric, glitter, and beads on canvas that was on display at the miLES Gallery and the International House in NYC for the debut of The Amazing Nina Simone documentary. It was inspired by the calypso sound blooming through her song of the same title written during her 3-year stay in Liberia.
